Some Well-Deserved Time At Home

I have had the greatest last couple of weeks. I've been enjoying being at home. I've gotten to visit family, cook on the grill, etc. I've played with my little boy everyday. We get under the water hose, ride the 4-wheeler, we've had a blast. There's nothing better than relaxing at home. It's been really great for me to feel like a normal Momma and wife for a little while by cooking and cleaning and washing clothes rather than traveling so much (well..maybe I haven't cooked that much). That's about it. Thanks for checking in! Looking forward to getting back on the road and singing to y'all.

I really enjoyed your concert at Alabama Adventure. You are Awesome and have so much SOUL. Thanks so much for such a GREAT performance. You and your band are GREAT. You are a very nice girl and you spent a lot of time with everyone there, THANK YOU! THANKS for signing your CD for me. I hope ya'll have a SAFE trip to South Carolina.

it's nice to see that the fame hasn't gone to your head like so many other stars!!! i love your music and how you have that tammy wynette sound to your voice and that old country sound to your music!!! keep it up!!!

Hey!
So I just wanted to say that for the first time in my life and having grown up in Nashville Tennessee and living down the road from people like Johnny Cash, Reba McEntire, and Eddie Raven, walking by your "hopeful" booth and getting to meet you in person was the high light of my life! hahaa. Your music is by far the best country music I have grown to like. I was raised in the classical world and I am just now starting to get into the country mucis scene.
I am so glad I had a friend take me to fan fair. I could have cared less who else I got to see after you signed my ticket and your photo.
THANKS! and keep up the amazing work, cant wait for the next CD and a MAJOR tour!!..?

So yeah this blog just shows another awesome thing about you. Not only are you an absolutly fabulous song writer with an amazing voice you still now what's most important in life! And you always seem so humble and honest. Don't loose that so many "country" stars forget that and then start acting all hollywood which just isn't what we're all looking for! Your great and glad to hear your able to spend a few weeks at home before doing the festival season!

Hey, enjoy your time at home! You've caught the eyes and ears of a lot of people. There's probably nobody out there of your age and in the stage of your career with as many songs already down on paper or on demo tapes. It's just a matter of time that you'll get your real breakthrough hit. In the meantime, enjoy your kid, husband and the "pickin' shed" ;-)

Takin' Off This Pain seems to have vanished from the ACC charts a couple of weeks ago from being #20 ... but I'm sure you'll be there again ...
